Marathon Targte Time Based on 7:50 training

Any suggestions on what would be a resonable target time to run the Columbus
marathon in, based on roughly 7:50 min/mile training runs of 4-10 miles daily
(roughly 30-35 miles weekly)?  These training runs are getting comfortable ....

Ran it in 3hr56min (>9:00min/mile) last year, was shooting for sub-4hr
again this year, but think maybe I am being conservative (wimpy?) ....

I think your marathon training routine has one minor flaw ;-). You need to run
a long run, varieties of 15-20 milers. At least, if you do this your body will
feel even more comfortable with the marathon. The marathon is not until NOV 12,
so you will have time to up your long run to a 20 miler. I figure you still
have 5 weeks of training plus two weeks of taper. My suggestion is to run
a 14 miler, a 16 miler, an 18 miler, go back to a 12 miler, and voila!! A 20
miler. If you do this training at about 8:30 pace, you have a potential to
finish sub 3:50 marathon with very little problem ;-)

Good luck!!
