go to the kiawah island web site - sorry don't have the url - and ask if it
is full.
The limits have as much to do with the limited access to the island as the
homeowners. I ran this a couple of years ago and stayed on the island. They
have a package for the runners that is reasonable and the house (luck of the
upgrade -goddess) was great. There was a wreck on the causeway - runners
staying of site driving in. Race managment delayed the start of the race
because the traffic jam back up delayed so many participants.
The resort does a great job; plus - flat easy course; weather varies; wind
can be bad on the ocean leg; they have a great buffet afterwards; I plan to
do it again
