Has anyone run the Kiawah Island Marathon?  Comments.  Also, is there a site
where I can find previous years results?  All the searches I have done come
up empty.

Yes.I ran it a few years ago.I like the race.However if you don't like turns it
is not the race you would want to pick.The race has many,many turns.The race
stays on the island so the course turns on itself many times.The race is
pancake flat and somewhat wind protected because of the trees and sand

track(or roadrunner) club.The club might have a web page??Don't remember the
name of the club though....Good luck if you do the race.

I ran the marathon in 95 to qualify for Boston '96. Did it with a minute and a
half to spare. It's a good course, very flat so you can set a very predictable
pace and stick to it. I hope you've got your entry in as they closed last
weekend. Be sure and go to the meal the night before, very worth the money.
