Last night I went to hear Jack Daniels speak about
"Key Ingredients for Successful Training and Peak
Performance," a talk organized by the Houston Area
Road Runners Assn. He talked about VO2, heart rate,
intervals, lactate, etc. Really appropriate stuff
with the Tenneco Marathon and all its warm up races
coming up soon. Way better entertainment than any
movie I've been to lately, and about the same price.
I highly recommend that you other running clubs out
there invite him to your town, too.
