...he's a dope.  Seconds after describing the nuclear build up and threat of N.
Korea as a "regional issue"....he says "Japan has a stake in it.....China has a
stake in it.....Russia has a stake in it.....We have a stake in it".  i only
wish the reporter followed up by saying, "sir, since you just covered the
eastern and western hemisphere...(or "globe").....perhaps you can tell us what
"region" you are referring to?"

...he just does not seem like a runner to me....not that we're all rocket
scientist...by no means....but we are reflective and think things through in
the solitude of running...especially our professional matters.  i don't think
many runners have to think off the top of their heads and illustrate a lack of
preparation/awareness of their professional matters....again..in our
solitude...we exercise our mind as much as our body.....and this guy does not
seem like he exercizes his mind very much at all...

"Dope" is giving him too much credit. The man has completly lost his grip on
reality, he is a loose cannon, a danger to everyone and everything alive. He is
a raving lunatic.  The best thing that could happen to us would be for someone
to take the ***er out.
Replace "dope" with "dangerous" and you're close. Dangerously stupid seems to
fit.

I'm glad he takes his oath to protect America seriously.  I don't want
to do nothing and wait for some of Iraq's anthrax to be spread over
the USA.  I think the reporter was smarter than you and knew what Bush
meant on Korea.  The nations effected mostly are in one region.  If
you look at the globe, you will see China, Russia, South Korea, and
Japan in that region.  The USA is involved because we are there
protecting South Korea, and there is some discussion that missiles
from North Korea could reach Alaska and possibly even the west coast.
Other nations in Europe, Africa, South America, etc. do not have a
stake in the North Korea situation.   (Compare that to Mideast terror
that is happening all over the globe.)

no...i think not.   what i've "put out there" is a curiosity of what this guy
thinks about as he's jogging.   ok, so he jogs w/secret service
guys....nonetheless....when we run....we contemplate our personal and
professional lives and matters to ourselves, within our own head.   it's our
"alone time" if you will, a time wherein we exercise our mind along w/our body.

it's played up how much of a jogger this guy is right?....well i wonder what do
you think about when you're a runner and the president.  methinks when you're a
runner and the president....you contemplate n.korea, iraq, and the economy in
your mind to the degree where you've exercised these matters so
thoroughly....you're atleast intelligent enough to not say stupid things.  n.
korea is  the leading exporter of arms in the world now w/revitalizing their
nuclear product line....is not a "regional issue" and he as much said so
despite having said it's a "regional issue".

let's face it...that's a small minded resposne and obviously a rehearsed
prepared response.  i wonder what bush thinks about while he's running.   we
all think about our personal and professional matters.....and i would think he
would too.

when you say you're a "runner", you're saying you spend time in mental solitude
reflecting on your personal/professional matters.   bush does not strike me as
much of a runner as what comes out of his mouth does not reflect much mental
thought, mental exercising if you will.....

i just can't see how he's on one hand this supposively "runner"....and on the
other hand....a rather dim witted person relative to his professional
responsibilities.  he should know n. korea's nuclear matters are a global
issue, not a regional issue....it's that simple.   he should have derived this
in his moments of running....if he is indeed what he claims, a runner....

Just one question- how many times in one post are you gonna make the same
point over and over again.  Apparently, when you run, you think deeply
through something.  Then think deeply through the exact same thing again.
And then think...well, you get the point...

Obviously, Clinton was a runner.  He was so sharp he could actually redefine
phrases like "*** relationship" and words like "sex" and "is."  Talk
about deep reflection!

BTW- I hear he's doing 60 Minutes.  That's impossible- Monica said he
couldn't do 15 seconds.

In your case, I'll apply Hanlon's Razor: Never attribute to malice
that which is more that which is adequately explained by stupidity!

You are probably not malicious.

The center line of a highway is also reflective. Reflectivity is not
an indication of intelligence.

The above ***reinforces my comments re: Hanlon's Razor.

: when we run....we contemplate our personal and
: professional lives and matters to ourselves, within our own head.

(we share a head now?)

:we
: all think about our personal and professional matters.....and i would
think he
: would too.

I don't- I just listen to rockin' music and put the mind in idle for a
change- it's incredibly restful and I come away refreshed and ready to get
back to work, personal relationships, etc.  Many of us do...It's just like
most forms of meditation...

:
: when you say you're a "runner", you're saying you spend time in mental
solitude
: reflecting on your personal/professional matters.

Really?  According to WHO?  You've taken it upon yourself to define what a
runner is for the rest of us?  Thanks, but no thanks.  Running is so
incredible and so loved by runners because it can be many different things
to many different people.   Don't define what running is for me.

:he should have derived this
: in his moments of running....if he is indeed what he claims, a runner....

So if you don't agree with his points (and don't have an understanding of us
problem with dyslexia), he's not a runner.  OMFG!  That's freakin' arrogant.
