Overall it is a great marathon.The only drawback I can rememeber is it has
many,many turns.It seemed like we retraced a lot of the island as we ran.It
bothered some of my training buddies but I can't say it bothered me.I have
never payed much attention to the course while I raced anyway.I fiddle/worry
too much with a heart rate moniter during a marathon to notice the
course.Anyway,It is a PR course(flat,wind protected{for most of it},and great
volunteers).Good luck! Randy

I've vacationed on the island. It is a beautiful place to run. I would
imagine that twice around the island may equal 26 miles. Needless to say,
it is flat with lots of shade. Good luck.
