I started running a couple months ago (after about a 10 year hiatus).
I'm 39, and run about 3 mi per day 5-6 days a week. I wanted to add
some supplimental weight training.
My rather silly question is: Exactly what lower body muscles are mainly
excercised when you are running, and which lower body muscles are not?
I would like to target those that *are not* with my supplemental weight
training (as well as upper body work) for general fitness.
Any suggestions on the best excercises to work these muscles would also
