Shoe recommendation for 210lb heel striking runner with low arches?

Hi,

I am 6foot 3 inch and am 210lb. I am a heel striking runner with low
arches. I have tried Asics Gel Nimbus and lloved the cushioning but
because I have low arches I found that the midsole pushed uncomfortably
into my foot sometimes. I switched to Asics Gel Kayano. I found that
these didn't have this discomfort in the midsole but I found that they
didn't give as much cushioning as the Nimbus. Is there a shoe out there
that gives as much cushioning as the Nimbus but is designed for people
with low arches. I was using the 2E width of the Kayano which fitted
well. I am primarily interested in durable shoes that I will get a high
milage out of with lots of cushioning. I get tiny twinges in my ankle,
knee and hip joints that I didn't used to so  I am interested finding
the right shoes and cushioning.

Thanks for any advice.

I ran for a while in Asics Gel Kojis, good cushioning and good support,
mine are also 2E, I am 6foot and can't remember how heavy but I am hell
on shoes and they stood up to me. My problem is that they held off my
shin splints well until I got fit enough to be running fast enough to
stop heel striking. Then they failed me. They are also a bit too soft
for me which doesn't seem to be good for my knees by ymmv and you may
not ever run that fast.

Now that the cheap option has failed I'm onto the expensive one and
going through orthotics in Gel Landreths (cheaper than the Nimbus and
felt better to me). Not as much cushioning as the Kojis and good for my
knees.

6'2" and 200lb, 2E -- I've run in the Nimbus and NB991/992. I like all
three, but prefer the New Balance. I am currently logging ~40miles per
week and a pair lasts me about 3months. I have regular arches, so take
my advice w/a grain of salt.
