It's hard to give you a program without knowing wherer you are.  How
many miles are you currently doing, what are some of you race results of
late.
the best source Ive found is Bob Clover's book the Competitive Runner
about 5 dollars in paper back.

Lots of people could.  But, there are several available.  How would we know
which are right for you?

"Galloway's Book On Running" and "Marathon!", both by Jeff Galloway have
several schedules, depending on your goal.  (Your goal should be set
according to your current level and abilities.)

Tim Noakes (in "Lore of Running", 3rd ed.) has a plan for non runners.   It
tries to reduce injuries with a 17 week walk to running break in period.
(He thinks a 6 month program is too short for a non runner.)
