What are the "sights" when doing Boston Marathon?

What are the "sights" when doing Boston Marathon?

Well, we're all doing our final planning for Boston.  I
would like some veteran Boston runners' recommendations.

Would y'all please indicate the things for us newbies
to be sure to see while doing Boston.  Examples might be:

John Kelly's starting point in Hopkinton.
When do we exactly enter Boston City Limits? (Is there a sign?)
The CITGO sign (from where)
The hardware store's window's reflection (where)
Heartbreak hill (so just where is it?--Is there a sign?
The "One Mile to Go" painted on the road (I know where)

So what else are sights of doing Boston?

thanks, jim
