Half-Marathon training

Half-Marathon training

Hi =o), I did a program all last year and at the end I was running 12km 4
times a week ... I got bored as hell with it so I gave up!. I'm now getting
back into it (I'm at uni, and its excellent for `letting of steam`!), and
was thinking that if I set myself a goal I'd have a bit more motivation once
I increased my distance (I'm presently just starting with 5 times a week of
5km). Now a half marathon is about 22km, can any1 suggest any training
methods as to how to build up to it? (I've never done that distance before
... 12km is my best). Do I just keep increasing my mileage or is that bad
for me? (i.e.. if I did that I'd end up with 5 times a week of about 22km!).
I really don't know how I should go about this so any advice would be
appreciated! = )
Yours, J0e.
