WazUp big guy.  Tried to dive Va. Beach last month but as usual it
didn't work out.  Its either the weather, the seas, the boat broke, yada
yada yada.  I know what Charlie Brown feels like when Lucy pulls the
football away.

Yeah, I still look in once in a while.

Health has me out of diving, have sold most of my gear, will never make
that 45,000th dive - who was the guy who posted that he had 44,000??????

Still have a Transpac with travel wing, a  nice lift bag and reel, an
Oceanic Veo 180Nx single button "hockey puck" nitrox computer, manual,
invisible shield, in console with Aeris 5500 psi pressure gauge, fresh
high pressure hose, brass dog snap, unused wrist mount for computer.

Accepting offers.

Read pretty much daily, but most days there's not much of anything to
read - and this sure in the heck has little enough about diving Oh boy,
it's more "is this thing on" posts! Whee!

esg - sorry to hear your health is a problem.

Probably heading to the boring old pedestrian Keys this December, looks
like Tavernier. The guy we used to go with there moved back to NH, the
gal we used to go with before that south of there runs a bakery now, we
were not overly happy with the holy rollers dive place out of that area
when we tried them one time after the good guy went home to NH.

Anybody used Conch Republic somewhat recently and care to report good,
bad or indifferent? Yes, I'm aware it won't be Bali, and I'm also aware
that it won't take 30 hours flight time and two months pay to get there,
either...

bovine feces.

I've had a slow season, haven't been to North FL since Feb, only a
handful of dives past couple of years.  However, a week ago today a took
major step in reversing my health issues, so have every intention of
returning to my former very active lifestyle.  That means diving, bicycling,
and maybe even martial arts, although competition is over.  As I recover
from my surgery, look out!

I have completely retired now.  No part time work.  6 Saturdays in every
week. :)

Glad to hear things are looking up for a more active lifestyle.  I had
several "legacy" issues from the job I needed to deal with last month.
They are out of the way as well as a medical issue that turned out OK.

Heading to Bonaire next month and looking forward to that.  I think this
will be my 4th trip there.  LDS had a smoking deal on the trip.  Made me
an offer I couldn't refuse.

Sorry I couldn't meet up with you for the Tenn. dive.  If you decide to
make it that way again, keep me in mind.  If circumstances permit, I
would like to get together.

It was the combustion of those feces which generated the heat to keep the place from going cold :-)

esg...sorry to hear; we'll have to see about a flight down for a weekend social to catch up with everyone in FL.

I expect to have within the next month or so the cherrypicked photos from this past summer's dive trip we took.  Finally suffered through the many flight hours to get to Bali (Wakatobi); was fortunate to have not gotten sick until right after we got back home...has made getting caught up at home & work a double challenge.
