Info on Koh Samui ?

Yes, I know. It's very tough on me. But i'm still going to dive in
September in Koh Samui Thailand. Do any of you have had experiences there
and could you give some me tips on the diveschools and sites ?
I saw an article flying by but couldn't read the contents because it was
wiped off the server. Any Rebounds?

Thx

Dave

Dave,

I did my Open Water and Advanced Open Water last July with Chang Dive
School in Chaweng, Koh Samui.  They also have a shop in Koh Pang Gan
(sp?) - a very friendly bunch of guys and my instructor (Simon Birtles - say
hi to him for me!) was excellent.  There are beach dives and boat trips
(inc. night dives).  The Chamchung Pinancles is well worth a visit 30m+
dive!

I shopped around while I was there, Chang isn't the cheapest (or the most
expensive) but they have the one of the best reputations on the island.

Aside from diving - hire a jeep for a couple of days and get around the
island, there are plenty of tracks to explore and waterfalls to find.

Have a great time - and let me know how you get on!
