Zeagle Tech BC

Am finally going to break down and buy a tech BC. The Zeagle Tech looks
exactly like what I need. Has anyone had any bad experiences with them?
Thanks in advance.

Zeagle Tech BC

I have had a tech for about a year now and have used it many times.  I
really like it except for two little things.  I have the 65 lb. lift bags in
mine and the bc seems to be a little less streamlined than I thought.
Occasionally I feel drag on it.  It is most noticeable when swimming on the
surface.  The best way I found to deal with the drag is to get myself a pair
of power fins such as U.S. divers rocket fins.
The second problem was that my b.c. would allow me to slide out of it a
little at times.  I solved this by getting the optional crotch straps.
Doesn't happen anymore.  I think this happened because it may be ever so
slightly big for me.  Not sure though.

I also recommend getting the weight bag pouches for it just for convenience
sake.  I still need to get a pair.  Zeagle makes those along with the crotch
straps and they also make a lumbar bad to.  I am thinking of getting a pad
just to make the b.c. that much more comfy.

Other than these minor things, I love it and couldn't be happier with it.  I
have used it for doubles to and it does just great.

Hope this helps, and good choice of B.C.'s.

Do you want to "look" tech or dive tech?

If you just want the tech look, then buy the Zeagle. If you plan to start
technical diving, get a plate and wing arrangement (look at Dive Rite and
Halcyon). Not only does it work better, it is cheaper too.

The recommendation on the weight bag pouches is ditto'd here.  Small
soft weights (3 lb) will work their way out without the pouches.  I
have lost weights from my Ranger (same weight integration system)
before without them.  However, I like the Zeagle very much.

Yeah, I have the Tech too.  I think the problem you describe; with slipping
out a little from it, is because it is too big.  I never had this problem,
and it find mine extreamly comfortable.

Ive owned a Zeagle Tech BC since 1995. I have 3 other BCs and the Tech
is by far my favorite!!  I use doubles with it, however you must order
double straps. The Tech comes with single tank straps. You can also
order the Tech with a redundent back up bladder that will give you
115lbs. of lift.
