camera question

Post by KM Fu » Tue, 20 Jul 1993 18:15:01

I am new in using Sea&Sea camera (MX-10) to take the picture, but there
are many "square box" in the pictures, I think is the reflection of the
camera built-in light bulb.
Is there any means to avoid this side effect in taking the picture?

Thanks for any kindness help!

The camera has a square retina.  Look into the lens and adjust the aperature to
see this.  What you are seeing ist reflections off of particles too small to
otherwise be seen, usually inside the focus of the camera.  We get this with
both the internal flash and the external one, although the diffuser helps some.

You'll run into this most often in silty water or where there is a high algae
content.
