Cayman Brac house for rent

Hi folks,

Believe it or not, there is another reason to go to Cayman Brac: rock
climbing.  It's fantastic.  Anyway, that's why I fell in love with
Cayman Brac.  So much so, that we bought a house down there.  We rent
it out while we aren't there (which is all to often).  Snorkeling
and climbing have been heavenly, now we need to learn to dive!!

Anyway, if you are interested in cheap lodging ($60 US / night) on the
Brac, check out the following.

take care,
Jeff Elison

The Bluff View House
--------------------
There are only three main roads on the Brac and the Bluff View House is
on the South road, toward the East end of the island.  This is far (nine
miles) from the airport or any other development and is very quiet.  The
house backs up against the Bluff and is 50yds from the ocean.  ("Brac" is
a Gaelic word meaning bluff.)  There are two identical units; one up, one
down.

The house is new, as is everything in it.  A fully equipped kitchen
(fridge, stove, microwave, blender, Mr. Coffee, pots, dishes, tableware)
supplements a fully furnished house (pillows, sheets, blankets, towels,
washer/dryer).  The air conditioning is nice in warmer months, but ceiling
fans are usually fine during the Winter.

Bring your clothes, toothbrush, CDs and tapes, snorkel, scuba and/or
climbing gear. (Climbers: There's an updated guide available!)  Bring a
phone card for long distance calls.  Everything else (except a TV!) is
there.

Rates for the Bluff View house, per floor, are $60US per night for two,
$70 for three, $80 for four, etc.  If you stay longer than six nights,
every seventh night is free.

: BOYCOTT BUSINESSES THAT RUDELY ADVERTISE IN USENET DISCUSSION GROUPS

I'm sorry if you found this to be rude.  I posted it at the suggestion
of a couple of folks who read this group on a regular basis.  They told
me that they have seen many complaints about the cost of lodging in the
Caymans.

I also don't expect this house to ever be a money making business.  My
wife and I bought the place because we love Cayman Brac and we wanted
a cheaper place to stay.  We intentionally decided on low prices to
draw rock climbers and create a central place for current information
on new climbs, weather, etc.

Finally, note that my wife and I have spent thousands of dollars and several
hundred hours of hard work establishing new climbs on Cayman Brac.  These
climbs are now available for all to experience (at no cost).  Have you done
something similar to help people experience your favorite dive sites?

Sorry again,
Jeff
