New-Aquashot II camera kit w/substrobe $200

Go to http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=14208939 to bid
for it.

I'm selling my new and unused Aquashot II housing ($80), substrobe ($150),
the macro kit ($60) and an Ikelite Aquasnap camera ($10).  All of these are
new and unused but they have been taken out of the package though.  I still
have all documentation and boxes in perfect condition.

I hope to get $200 (reserve price) for this new and unused housing kit.
Normally, it would cost $290-$300.  That's $100 off what you would normally
pay in a dive shop and/or mail order company.

Keep in mind that the Aquashot 3/3e is about to ship for about the same
price.  However, a Aquashot 2 can be upgraded for $40, I believe.

leisure pro price

camera             56.95
macro it            52.95
strobe              119.95
aquasnap         free with housing
                      ------------
$229.85 or $239.95 for the full  kit w/ a large
padded carry case (35.00)  .    Now with the aquashot 3 & 3e
out, don't you think that the aquashot 2 is worth just about zero .
Consider the AS3 upgrade.   AS3 housing       40.00
                refit macro          10.00
                reft  water cor. lens 10.00
                new strobe deflec.     5.00
kit to convert to AS3e 10.00
                                                 --------
                                                 $75.00
I don't think you will get any where near your price as the AS3 & 3e
will be selling  for (mail order) for less that your asking.
Sorrry, but that how I see it.

Arthur,

I'm already using the Aquashot 2, and was wondering the Aquashot 3 has that
is new. Thanks

Roger

The AS3 uses the new disp. cameras ( 400 -800-and faster) , as you know
the disp. for the AS2 are about twice the price of the new ones  and are
getting harder to find. PLUS the AS3 with a $10.00 convertion kit
becomes an AS3e that takes a Fuji endeavor 10  point and shoot reusable
camera. The new housing is transparant and the film advace wheel has
been redesigned so as to operate  much smoother. If you send your basic
AS2 to Iklite they will upgrage you too a new AS3 for $40.00. I am
waiting for my upgraded model as we speak.
