Has anyone gotten their refunds yet from Skydive Dallas for the jumps that we
didn't make?  I tried sending an e-mail to Dallas and it got sent back to me.

I did, but only because I was at SD on the Monday after the event. However,
I did not get a refund for the 60-way registration fee.

I got a refund on 08-04 for $168.00 from my original $440.00.   Lets see.....
that was 5 jumps on Friday from 13.5k,  1 jump on Saturday that included the
scenic drive of the N. TX country side (Don't forget the feast provided Sat)
The 3 jumps on Sunday that came surprisingly close.   That comes to  just over
$30 dollars a jump.  Mmmmm?  Hell of a deal.

No....not some tropical beach....she is headed back to
Northern California.  Here is the body of an email that
is making the rounds.....

        Dear Friends,
We are writing to tell you that we have been made an offer to return
to Northern California and have decided to accept. Our time here in
North Texas has been rewarding in many ways, most of which has been
in the graciousness of the friendships we have made. Thank you.

On Aug 22nd we will be heading out to return to the coast that we
love as well as the company of old friends.

My best guess is that the NCal location is Skydance
based on historical evidence.

I just got mine back  $192
Just a check with no letter explaining how they came up with the amount.
So....
Heres the answer I got from Jennifer regarding the money.

$40 was a non refundable admin. fee
$10 for dinner Saturday night
The remainder was divided by 16 to determine cost per jump then the
number of jumps you made was subtracted from this to get your total.

I knew egos grew big in Texas -- when did Dallas become a state?
