There are several within a two-hour drive.  None are closer than one hour from
downtown D.C.  Actual drive time will depend heavily on exactly where in the
D.C. Metro Area you're starting from.  I work and play at Skydive ***ia.

Well, can't help but plug my favorite, Skydive DelMarVa in Laurel,
Delaware. Great place great people and in April we have our very own
OTTER. Waaaahooooooooooooooooo.

Hey Rob and Kat and Ned is anybody going to be there Friday 12-3-99; I'm
doing my long cross country and my instructor selected Orange as one of
the airports to land at. Probably be there around 11:30. Oh the skies
are getting scarier and scarier....want to see something really scary?

Yeh check out Chambersburg PA 717-264-1111.  They are going to have a King air
back next season.  The place has a real good vibe and there will be several
good skydivers there now that there is a turbine.  Lots of fun during the day
and the night.  If you are into freeflying I would sugest Cross Keys NJ, not
much of a personality but big planes and lots of freeflyers.
