Our King Air lost an engine on Sunday at 7000 feet. All aboard exited in an
orderly manner and landed uneventfully, including two AFF students. Our pilot,
Keith, also landed uneventfully, and our King Air sustained no further damage
(Keith is an awesome pilot).

Today, on very short notice, Tonney Boan and Mark Woods brought their pilot,
Chris Cummings (who rescheduled his planned events for the day), his wife and
their King Air to Laurel to save our day. Keith flew back to Louisa with them
and brought their King Air back to Laurel so we could have it for the remainder
of the week.

There are really no words to express the enormity of this favor, but we're very
grateful to them and honored to have such good friends.

I wasn't on the load, but from what I understand, it wasn't anywhere near as
"exciting" as it could have been. Everyone just did their thing as though
they'd practiced for it forever. Not only do we have a great pilot, we also
have a great bunch of instructors and fun jumpers here.

One can only hope. :)
