Roland Green == wuss?

Post by Fred F. Fredl » Wed, 11 Jul 2001 08:57:23

Did anyone see the picture of Roland Green on Velonews.com?
The dude is crying because he got a flat and lost a world cup mountain bike
race. I used to have a lot of respect for the guy, but come on...
Its just a race.  Even if it is a world cup race, its not worth crying over
spilled milk.  Comments, opinions?

My comments and reply:

your the  wuss for needing rbr geeks to either sypmathize with you or argue
against your statement.
Ken P(another wuss) what do you think?

To bad this Newsgroup doesn't have a spreadsheet or some tool where all the
regulars can "chime in" on how they feel about every single stupid opinion
posted.

A tool like that  would be RBR- geek heaven
I can see Albright now stroking his tool in earnest.

Your welcome for suggesting it.

I can see crying over a relationship... something that stays with you.
But a disappointment in a race should only last until your next race.
Nothing to cry about.

I agree that we need something like that.  I suggest we create a newsgroup
called "rec.bicycles.racing".

Sounds like you are the tool for not realizing such a thing exists.

Why did you ask for comments / opinions if you don't care?

Did I ask Ronde Champ's opinion on whether or not he thinks I am a douche?
I think not.

Whether you care or not, you're still a douche.

One could assume that your final sentence fragment was refering to
Roland Green, but it is vague and open to interpretation.  Also, when
you start a post belittling someone, don't be surprised if you get the
same in return.
