It sounds like you did do an Indurain, not going over the cliff and almost
did a Fignon!

So, what are the advantages to a Pantani decent? How much is your drag
coefficient lowered? Is the lower center of gravity that helpful?

Have a good one,
Charles

I tried doing a Pantani once after watching Marco doing it in this years
TDF.  Got scared, lost control and almost did an Indurain over the cliff.
Love to watch Pantani climb.  I have read techniques on climbing and experts
say to sit up with both hands on the top bar.  I taped the climbing stages
of this years TDF and watched Pantani climb, he seems to lower his body,
with his hands on the brake hoods...excellent technique.
