I would like to know how to tell model number of Stronglight crank. I don't
know. I have one with Delta written on it. Fairly simple. They are 130 mm
BCD. The others i have are 144mm BCD.  I'm a little lost.

By the way is the Delta a good crank?

Find a copy of Southerland's Manual -- it lists many Stronglight
model numbers and also gives the BCD.

The Stronglight Delta crank was the top of the line model when it was
available, and was the first with the 130 mm BCD. Going backwards
chronologically, and only referring to top of the line models was the mod.
107....It is a 144 mm bcd, and has the word STRONGLIGHT and the logo engraved
large on eack arm, as well as black detailing on the big ring. Prior to this
was the 106, which was very simalr to the 107, without the large writing/logo.
Prior to this was the 105, which had a smaller BCD and star shaped spider. Hope
this helps....they are good products. Oh ...one more note..Does your Delta
crank have the "carbon reinforced" big ring?
