New Wheel/New Noise???

New Wheel/New Noise???

After slightly tacoing my rear wheel, I had it replaced by a bike shop, this is
a very good wheel built by Wheelsmith with a Bontrager Rim.  The same freewhell
cassette is being used, but when I coast, I get a different noise from the
freeheel than I did on my old bike.  The hubs are the same, but the noise, kind
of like the buzzing noise you always get is different.  Is this problem, or is
it the new wheel, or the chain out of alignment, etc.  Thank you.

I'm no wheel expert, but maybe it's just that the vibration from the
freewheel pawls (the buzzing) sounds different because of different spoke
tension in the new wheel.

That sounds like a good guess. Wheels will sound different depending on
how the spokes are tensioned...
