Anyone know if the h-bar stem on the Super V's is a standard size?

I'd like to replace mine, need to know what size.  Looks like it's a
1 1/4"  A-head type.

thx,

rocky

Sorry, it is not standard size, but it is Ahead style. It's a 1 1/2", which
is designed for the Headshok of course. So nobody else would need the stems
except 'Dale owners, and thus you don't have many options.
My local shop has 2 or 3 new Coda stems for these bikes, various degree
rises/reach lengths, polished silver aluminum. They cost $50 each, not bad
considering that it's Cannondale we're talking about, and a Control Tech Al
stem costs about the same.
The shop I bought my bike at said that there is ONE other company that makes
stems for this Headshok deal (I got a new one myself cuz I hated the angle on
the stem that came with the bike), but I forget the name of the company...it
was supposed to be cheaper.  I just got the Coda one instead because the
C'dale rep was in the shop the day I was, and he gave me a new one at dealer
cost (he was feeling generous that day, I suppose.)

This is a Cannondale specific item.  Your Cannondale dealer should be
able to supply you with a swap of your size of choice

I've seen them in the local shops here for $40.  They seem to have  bit
of a mark up.
