Where to Buy Maps, Michelin, IGN

Hello

I am planning  a bicycle tour in France. It is difficult to find large
scale maps here in the US. I have tried the best map store I know of, Map
Center in Santa Clara CA with no luck. I want large scale, ie., 1:100,000.
This would be green series IGN or michelin.
thanks

well, since i don't any stores in Santa Clara, i guess my recent
suggestion about the IGN was of no value. i only know that in seattle,
we can get IGN at Metsker's Maps(Seattle and Bellevue) and the
University Book Store(also Seattle and Bellevue). here is site for
Metsker's: http://www.seattlesquare.com/metskarmaps/default.htm

here is the site for the University Book Store:
http://www.bookstore.washington.edu/

hopes these help you.

I often travel in Italy and have had the same problem with maps.  I have,
however found a superb resource on the net.  It is the Adventurous Traveler
Bookstore.  If they don't have the map you want, they'll order it for you.
The maps I use are 1:200,000 and are of excellent detail.  The URL for the
ATB is below.  Happy trails!
