Excellent Trail Pony

Delighted to hear that your horse is deloping the skills to be a useful
trail pony.
We were working along the road on Friday and this pony has seen this
sign a hundred times but today she decides to take a pony fit.  Bandit was
very concerned that there was someting to be frightened about but I told
his rider just to move forward, out of the pony's space.  The rider worked
her through the spasm.  My best comment was" Your should have seen the
fits that her monther could throw."
I never had the nerve to ride the monther.
Bandit and I worked two and a half miles this morning as there were few
bugs and no traffic on the road.  His fitness level is good, but I have
slowed down a lot in the summer heat.
The shoes are again wearing very badly at the toes and the hoof wall is
worn about an inch up, but he remains sound, so the farrier will reset him
exactly as he did last time.
The fall wather should allow us more travel time before I get exhausted.
