Dear Sharon
Congratulations on your new mini.  I have niver owned on but
am really interested in all information as I plan to keep mimi's
when I can no longer handle the Quarter horse  types.
Please tell me what coulour he is and what is his line of
breeding.
I understand that the really small ones have molar problems so I
must get a mini between  34 and 36 inches in height.
Probably the web site for your registry will give you much
more information about temporary registry.
Please post here on shat the responses would be.
Thank you
Irene

We still have our riding horses and a shetland pony, but I really like
these minis.  They are more like a family dog than a horse.  I enjoy
taking him for a walk.

The AMHR website is lacking in many ways, but I'll be contacting them by
phone or email.

He is pure black with a white star.  I'm not sure what the line of
breeding is.  It lists his dam and sire on the papers, but there is no
similar names going back.  The former owner breeds them, and has several
studs.  This was one she sold because she said she had too many
stallions, not to mention that he came right to me. She said that he was
normally not that friendly with people.  I knew right away that he was
the one..... Not to mention that she was "thinning the herd", and gave
me a price I could not refuse.

Where did you get this "molar problems" info?  I never heard of this
before.  I'd like to read up on it if there is a website or something.
