I'm working for a Documentary Film company and we have discovered a
book due out in February 2005. It is a book called "Beautiful Jim
Key," and it is about a horse named Jim Key. This horse lived around
1905 and is thought to be the smartest horse to ever have lived. It
could do simple math and spelling among other things.
The company I work for is looking at doing a film based on the
information in this book. We already have the rights as the head
filmmaker here helped Mim Rivas, author of "Finding Fish," research
this new equestrian book. Has anyone else heard about it. Also, does
anyone have any more information about Jim Key, as far as legends or
stories that have been passed around. The book looks to be intriguing
and we're hoping to match it with a documentary.
