Tamara's Sad Day

A regular of rec.eq, Tamara Howard, of Production Acres, lost her
husband this morn.  A neighbour shot and killed him.

Thought folks here should know.  It's been all over Facebook.

Thank you, Corinne. I feel horrible for Tamara and her family. I'm sure
Bill and Sandy are in shock, too.
Terrible!

a nice family.  My heart breaks for them.

I don't even know what to say or think.  I joined the wreck about 8 years ago and loved it when Tamara  posted, always surprised that she was able to find the time with her busy life with kids, hay business and her fabulous ponies.  Always intelligent, helpful and kind!  I have been out of the loop, not having made the move over to FB and have often wondered about some of my old favourites, including Tamara.  My heart goes out to her and her family and everyone directly or indirectly affected by this senseless tragedy.  I simply cannot think of a worse ending for anyone.
thank you for posting Corinne, I would not have known other wise.

You're welcome.  That's why I did.  I knew not everyone has migrated.

My belated condolences.

So set, before its echoes fade,
The fleet foot on the sill of shade,
And hold to the low lintel up
The still-defended challenge-cup.
