Russell, please find the newsgroup news.announce.newusers and read the
FAQs there. This group is for talking about horses, not about Monty
Python. Therefore please don't use it to send Monty Python to hundreds
and thousands of computers all over the world, as you were doing.
There's a group for that, and it isn't this one.

The definition of "sense of humor" isn't necessarily "laughing at your
jokes." Humor involves context. Other people's computers are a bad
context for off-topic humor.

Russell, you're posting from somebody else's email, refusing to accept
private messages, meandering off-topic, refusing to quote and cite, and
doing it all to complain about other people. You looked really ready to
participate and learn for awhile, but this calls it all into question. If
you have a non-horsey comment, please fix your email and email it or post it
to the relevant group. Failing that, you'll get more points for keeping
