An end to this Brad DiCaprio bull-crap

I'm going to settle this AOL-Net fed argument once and for all by putting in
my two cents.  I've been in both types of fed, and have experience with both.
So here we go.
The number one reason why I like Net feds over AOL feds is the fact that AOL
feds seem to last all of two weeks before the total lack of talent kills the
fed.  It seems as if all of two people RP in these feds, and both of them suck.
Not only that, but almost every fed on AOL is real, and I have started to hate
these feds.  Yes, I'm sure there are great AOL feds, but I personally have
never come upon one, whereas I have come upon at least THREE great net feds.
As for Brad's argument that Net feds are nothing but egotists trying to
prove something, well, I personally am not an egotist, and I could care less if
I win a match much less a title.  I'm in it to have fun, which is what e-feds
of any kind SHOULD be about.  AOL feds seem to be nothing but a bunch of
beligerant idiots who couldn't write their way out of first grade, much less a
decent RP.  And I LIKE writing long RPs.  I am a professional writer, and I
find no greater enjoyment than writing stuff that others will respect me for.
I could care less about what others think about me as a person, but my
character... I want people to care about him.  That's what all REAL writers
want, and it's what you want, which shows by the fact that you are using your
"Brad DiCaprio" character to write in this newsgroup.
Yes, I like some AOL feds.  And I like some Net feds.  But I prefer Net feds
because I like great RPs, LONG RPs, and a very detailed story to place my
character in.  We could argue all day long about all the little details, but
I'd rather just end this whole argument with this... AOL feds are good for some
people, Net feds are good for others.  Who cares which one we like, as long as
we're doing something THAT we like.  Until next time...

<<<   I'm going to settle this AOL-Net fed argument once and for all by putting

Calling Aolers names and insulting us. What a way to make peace.

<<<   The number one reason why I like Net feds over AOL feds is the fact that

fed.>>>

Stop looing for feds in WWf chat rooms.

<<< It seems as if all of two people RP in these feds, and both of them
suck.>>

I;ve been in net feds in the past and they all rp, but they all are boring. Mst
of them just ended up clogging my mailbox because I didn't even want to try and
read it.

<<< Not only that, but almost every fed on AOL is real, and I have started to

these feds.>>

You never exerienced a true AOL fed. What you are describing are WWF chatroom
feds.

<< I have come upon at least THREE great net feds.>>

What great to you is boring to me. You like to read 18 part cards words for
words??? Or else you will miss an angle in the card. You like reading all the
flashes that are384733847K long???

<<   As for Brad's argument that Net feds are nothing but egotists trying to
prove something, well, I personally am not an egotist, and I could care less if
I win a match much less a title. >>

Thats nice. But you are the TH net feds. Most of them have an ego.

<< I'm in it to have fun, which is what e-feds
of any kind SHOULD be about. >>

FUN? That is why all the retirement posts have one topic in common. Roleplaying
is a chore... I lost interest.. Why? Because they HAVE to do long rps.

<<AOL feds seem to be nothing but a bunch of
beligerant idiots who couldn't write their way out of first grade, much less a
decent RP.>>

Oh yeah, out comes the stereotype. My turn.
Net feds seem to be nothing but a bunch of losers who gets happy from winning a
match on some imaginary game. Net feds are full of people who swear they swear
this is real life.

<<<  And I LIKE writing long RPs.  I am a professional writer, and I
find no greater enjoyment than writing stuff >>

Sure...

<<that others will respect me for.
I could care less about what others think about me as a person, but my
character... >>>

You just say that you wanted people to respect you for your writings and now
you said you could careless. Get your story right.

<<I want people to care about him.  That's what all REAL writers
want>>

I doubt 90% of net handlers are REAL writers.
They are not in it to glorify their writing skills. They are in it for the fame
of being popular in the RSPWF.

<<, and it's what you want, which shows by the fact that you are using your
"Brad DiCaprio" character to write in this newsgroup.>>

No one knows my fed. Nor do I want too. I am here to state the facts. I don't
care if the RSPWF hates Brad or not. Doesn't affect him in the fed that I am
in.

He does have a few points but I think Mr. DiCaprio as well as many of the other
posters in this thread have made some gross generalizations as to Net and AOL
Feds. Unless you have been in EVERY fed out there, you have no way of knowing
about all Net Feds or AOL Feds.

You can only tell us of your individual experiences in these feds. Not everyone
does long rp's, not everyone likes reading long rp's. In the same token, not
everyone likes short rp's. Same goes for card lengths but all of this is
individual taste and does not go for everyone.

I, for one, would be interested in seeing a sample of Mr. DiCaprio's work . . .
what he posts for his fed, not what he did here.

Just a thought,
Brian

Ok that was weird but I think y'all have one thing mixed around.  Aol feds are
the ones with 4593599 liners and net feds are the ones who seem to keep the rps
short and realistic

This is the kind of attitude that I"m talking about that a lot of you need to
get rid of.  Very stereotypical....

He's saying that it's only AOL Feds that say a particular Role Play has to
be X lines long as opposed to a net fed which usually don't set a limit.

This is of course a stark contradiction to what Cish is saying.

It's called rebuttal.

Would you like me to spoon feed you something else?
