It will fail. Sometimes you have to accept that a show is just a product of
its time. The MTV that Beavis and Butthead became stars on no longer exists.
The people who watch MTV are no longer the people who watched it in the
1990's.

Nobody really wants new Beavis and Butthead episodes anyway. Really. It's
been 15 years, for ***'s sake. Let the fans have their memories instead of
sullying them by having aging men in flannel shirts try to relive their
youth. Does anyone remember Ren and Stimpy's '*** Party'? No? There's a
***ing good reason.

I do. It was the saddest moment of my cartoon watching life (and I've seen
Calliou!). I kept watching, waiting for it to get better... hoping for it to
get better... PRAYING FOR IT TO GET BETTER!!! But it never did!

It never did...

I hereby rescind my Butthead impression.

I was reminiscing about the return of Celebrity Deathmatch and
realized that entered Epic Fail waters with me.  How about American
Gladiators starring Terry Bollocks and Layla "My daddy's still The
Greatest Of All Time" Ali?
The only show I've seen of late that survived after a long hiatus was
Family Guy.
