Lost will return to NBC.
Somewhat forgotten after Sept. 11 and overshadowed by The Amazing Race,
NBC's Lost was, well, lost. Exactly when it would return for its
second set of three episodes was uncertain. But NBC has announced that
the show will return on Dec. 23 with six new contestants, airing for
three weeks on Sundays at 7 p.m. ET.

Lost was never on NBC?

No, you're wrong.

This "Lost" was a reality game produced by late-night talker Conan
O'Brien.

Replays of the NBC show Lost were they blindfold people and fly them
out somewhere and they have to get back to the US shows in Reality
Channel. I think both Lost and The Amazing Race debut 1 week before
9/11 and didn't re-air till 3 weeks later. Amazing Race crushed Lost in
the ratings and Lost got lost. I never knew the show existed until the
Reality (Fox Reality I think it is called) showed it. Looks like a
boring show compared to Amazing Race.

I enjoyed its concept, although its execution wasn't so great.  The 1st
episode of each game was the best, but I'd've liked to have seen more
of the contestants' money raising in subsequent episodes.  The 2nd
game's showing was shortened by one episode when it turned out the
winning contestant had misrepresented his background.  I still liked it
better than "The Amazing Race", and thought they could've produced it
better.  Its British produced version stayed in production after the
NBC version was canceled, but not for long, I guess.
