My trip reports concentrate on the over all experience of the area I fly into, in this case, it was Hartford CT, Bradley Airport (BDL).

You can see all my pictures and info here.

Boulder Dash, deserves to be in the top 5, worthy of the #1 rank it once held.  Great ride, amazing how fast the coaster goes from the first drop.

Is Bizarri better than Millennium Force?  No.    Not even close.   I'll admit Bizarro packs a bigger punch, but MF is faster over all and has better floater hills.   The first drop on MF is also better.     I'd say that Bizarro was the predecessor to Intimadator at KD.   Is that ride better than MF?   No.    Yet Rob and others will say it "Craps all over MF."   It does in terms of being intense in a short time, but MF give a better over all experience.

Here's the problem with SFNE, the park has 2 sides when looking at the map.    Right has Bizarro, Cat Woman's Whip, Mind Eraser, Batman Dark Knight.   No problem getting on all these rides early in the morning.

The right side of the park has Goliath (Deja-Vu from SFMM), Pandemonium, Cyclone, Flashback, Thunderbolt.   The problem here, is these rides are low capacity, take a while to load, limited trains/cars, long lines.   Once the park is at capacity, the lines for everything on the left side of the park are over an hour.   I didn't even think about waiting for Goliath, I rode it once at SFMM and that was enough.

Here's the other bummer.   They let season pass holders in at 09:30am.    They let everyone else in at 10am, but make them wait at the Looney Tunes theater until 10:30am.    They have a Discover Card line for those members, but it doesn't get you anything.   So if you're thinking of visiting SFNE, get the season pass.

At least at SFoG and SFMM, once you got into the park, the rides were open, you could get on 2 rides early.   At SFNE, they're reserving this for season pass holders only.   Even if you have a season pass and get in early, you'll still end up waiting for the rides on the left side of the park, unless you have a fast pass.

I did get 2 rides on Bizarro, once in the front, once in the back, so I'm happy.

In terms of the over all experience of Hartford, Lake Compounce, and SFNE, it was good, not the best, but good.

Bizarro sucks. I hate the restraints that staple you in and prevent
any airtime, and those stupid speakers that block your view and play
shitty music really loud. I have no idea if this ride was as awesome
as everyone says before it started chucking people out and they messed
it all up, but as it stands today it's not a great ride at all. I was
very disappointed by it.

The speakers were NOT working when I was there.   Neither was the fire.   The mist in the 2nd tunnel was.   That's the problem with on board speaker systems and fire, hard to maintain and keep working.   Same with indoor water rides like Journey to Atlantis (SWF) and Tomb Raider (KI).   Water eats up the electronic parts, rust, very hard to fix.

Bizarro is smooth, but there's still a lot of shaking going on.   I don't see how the electronics at the back of the coaster could survive that repeated beating over and over.    We're talking amps, music player, wires to each seat, and sensors.

So yeah, it was probably a good thing, I got 2 quiet rides with only the crowd and wind noise.
