Coasters with more than 1 lift hill?

Coasters with more than 1 lift hill?

Post by Andreas Schildbac » Sat, 20 Aug 1994 02:13:02

Are there any roller-coasters in the states with more than one lift hill?

We have a dark-ride type coaster (called Space Center) here in Germany,
that has 3 (three!) lift hills. Thus riding time is quite long (4-5
minutes, if you count in the lift hills).

Most mine train rides and suspended coasters over here have more than lift.  I
thing all of the Disney Minetrains have 3, as does the Cedar Point one.  Most
suspendeds seem to have two lifts.  Other coasters with more than one include
Beast (2), Loch Ness Monster (2), BPB Big Dipper (2), Ultimate(3).  The
Ultimate has the worlds longest ride at about 5:40, I don't know of any others
more than four.  There are several in the 3.5 to 4 range.

I can't remember disney's but I do remember that CP's Mine Ride only has 2
lifts..The first one and the one after the dip to the water.

Also Adventure Express at PKI has the worst second lift..

Neither are fantastic rides but... the Draggin' Iron... er... Iron Dragon
and the Mine Ride at Cedar Point both have two lift hills.  The former is a
suspended and the latter a runaway mine train.
