Each time I download headers I cannot read those anymore. What happend to my
computer??

I get this message:
Press <Space> to display the selected message.
You can also choose to automatically show messages in the preview pane from
the Options command.

please oh Please tell me what to do. I don't wanna miss a thing

Gerald, get to know your newsreader.

When you download the messages, they are getting marked as "read" in your
.newsrc file (and I have no idea whether that is in your computer or on
the server) so that the next time you download messages, you don't
download the ones you have already seen.

That said, there is very little assistance any of us can offer unless we
know what newsreader you are using.  Remember, there are dozens of
different newsreaders out there.  Personally, I have used rn, trn, tin,
and Netscape (and found Netscape to be the worst of the bunch for news).
Others here use Outlook, various versions of AOL, PINE, Agent, Trumpet,
and that is just the ones I can think of off hand.

Are you using Outlook Express? What I did was clean out the NG and
re-subscribe to it and re-download all the headers.
