Best Park: Kennywood

Best Coaster:  I don't know but I know it is wood.  Choose from: Kennywood
Thunderbolt and Jackrabbit, Great Escape Comet, HP Wildcat, GL Big Dipper, LL
Zippen Pippen, Zingo, SCBB Giant Dipper, Lakeside Cyclone, CLP Blue Streak, but
only when it was tracked and running properly!, Wolverine Wildcat--and did I
mention the Arkanthaw Twithter and the Coney Island Shooting Star?....All I
truly know is that in the Cline ratings if 100 were derned good and 50
tolerable and 0 I ain't never riding it again, at least 25 woodies get more than
100, Magnum and Steel Force get 100's, most steel coasters get 10 or 12 and two
unnamed megawoodies, neither in Texas, get about minus 12,024!!!

john cline ii who in closing says leave it to the clinefeathers to make a mess
like this!  Now you know why I could NEVER NEVER NEVER put together a rankings
list!!

I presume you mean to ask about my *favorite* park and coaster, because I
certainly wouldn't want to answer for anybody else.  Even so, it's pretty
hard to choose from among so many great ones...

Small park:  Knoebels.  Honorable mention to Holiday World.
Large park:  BGW.  Honorable mentions: CP and SFoT.

Wood coaster:  Coaster, Vancouver.  Honorable mentions: Phoenix, Raven, and
Texas Giant.
Steel coaster:  Magnum XL-200.  Hard to pick honorable mentions here,
because once I start listing them, it's hard to stop!  Suffice it to say
that Magnum still stands out above all the rest in my mind.

I can't do the "Best Park/Best Coaster" thing (I just can't), so I'll
add to this subset of the thread.  Between April and August, if all
goes as planned, we anticipate riding Batman & Robin: The Chiller,
Roar, Taz' Texas Tornado, Mr. Freeze (TX), Mamba, Mr. Freeze (MO),
Shivering Timbers, Serial Thriller, Rampage, Great Bear, Excalibur,
Volcano, Vapor Trail and that new Crazy Mouse on the Jersey shore.
And, forty-one other "new to us" coasters in the associated parks.
Plus, all the other coasters we've ridden in the parks we've visited
before...  Coasters!  Coasters! Coasters!  :-)

Right now I'd be happy with a Flitzer.  Now you know why I drive so
fast.  :-)
