A hi-tech water and amu***t theme park is being planned by a group
of NRIs in Vellalassery on the border across Kozhikode- Malappuram.
The multi-entertainment theme park, named `ZaLagoon Malabar' is
estimated to cost Rs35 crore. Attractions at the park will initially
include swing ride, balloon race, roller coaster, electric cars, and
ocean and beach rides. The theme park is expected to be ready by Mar
2003. Work on the park will start by Jan 2001.

If my math is correct, that is equal to about $6,145,741.88
Not too bad for a whole amu***t park! Admission prices should be
pretty reasonable, eh?

It's worth mentioning that Michigan's Adventure sold for around 24M, which
included 6 coasters (1 stellar), a water park, and a ton of land.
