Does anyone think that ACE and other orginizations could join up and buy
drachen fire? we could save the ride.... and put it at the ACE museum....we
would need approx...5 million dollars... i know its way off...but its
possible..

Not to be Mr. Negativity, but I would rather we save up the money to build
the museum first.  Then I'd like us to save the Screechin' Eagle at
Americana.  It is a far superior ride to Drach.  I'm also sure there are a
few other coasters the majority of ACE members would rather put their
dollars towards before DF.  But I have been wrong before - and will be
again.

Um You better refigure your numbers!

The coaster is for sale for 4.5 million and to ship the coaster about ten to 15
truckloads and to rebuild it {crane and manpower} it would probably take more
like 12 million to reconstruct Drachen.  Why do you think they havnt found a
buyer?  Because you can build a new coaster for almost the same as the
Relocation and purchase cost.

Chuck  Who belives Drachen Fire should remain at BGW and themed. and reopened
with proper warnings and better OTSR cushioning!

I think what BGW should do is TAER it down and
let B&M rebuilt the same coaster as it should have
been in the first place. Maybe with floorless cars.

IMHO, This is a great idea. DF was my first ever real coaster. It was DF
that brought me to the rollercoaster world.

I would contribute every cent of my banking account to this fund.

I Agree!
DF and the vortex(PKI)are two of Ron Tumors best Designs.

And booth should be treated with Great Respect.

I heard that Ron *TOOMER* played a small role in their design also.
