CHILLER: "bye bye batman"

i feel the reason why the chiller's batman side train is gone because, theres
was an effect with the train, they need to manufacture another train as for
example( the train weighed to much and thats why they were having trouble with
the launches like Volcano at PKD, or theres something wrong with the fin's on
the train that side through the LIM's? I feell that its not the Lim's any more
its something wrong with that train, because if it was just the lim's then they
wouldn't have de-railed the train completely from the track, they would just
put it in the storage track in the back!!, its ok theres alway Medusa for next
year :o)

Perhaps since school has started, park attendance has gone down, thus resulting
in shutting down one of the sides because they dont' have enough staff to run
both sides.  On MrFreeze, they don't have enough staff on weekends (sundays to
be specific) to run both  transfers.  So, because they're low on staff, they're
running one side, and perhaps they're doing body-work to the train to imporve
it's looks.  Or maybe they're replacing the harnesses witht those like on
MRFreeze.  Just a logical thought...

I was at sfot last Sunday and sfgadv yesterday.  They WERE in fact running both
trains on Freeze all day last sunday.  I must admit that they were also very
efficient.  As an aside, I do prefer Chiller to Freeze if only for the reason
that Freeze seems rougher to me in both the top hat and the turnaround.  Plus
the zero g roll on chiller is a plus in my book...

On to SFGADV.  I was there yesterday.  Attendance was not 'down'.  In fact the
parking lot was about full, and there were easily around 40,000 people in the
park.  Every queue was filled to capacity.  So I dont think that this figures
into the Batman Chiller equation.  It could be that they are very short on
staff this time of year (every ride was being ran with minimum staffing) or it
could be something else.  I will also give kudos to the Robin Crew..they were
launching trains very consistently.  Even with only the one side open the wait
was under an hour with the entire queue area full (despite the fact that the
sign said two hours).
