Question...Is Batman & Robin: The Chiller open at GAdv. with both trains
running with the new lapbars?  Might be heading over there on Saturday and
was curious.

Thanks!

Sorry
As of the Mon morn Trav ch filming  (which was supposed to include
the Chiller)   not yet

From my contacts with the park this past weekend they thought they
had the Batman side ready for running and ready for the Trav ch shoot on
Mon,..   but after a dozen or so completed runs,  it valley'd once again
8-(

Leaving the park after the filming we saw the Robin train  (or at
least some of) in the maintenence shop.

Since the Batman side is CLOSE there IS a good possibility that it
might be running this weekend,   but that's just opinion.  (also thats'
what the rumours are saying)

I'm going Fri nite,  and hoping.

Coastin  Steve     who was on the "First" train on Robin w/ lapbars last
fall,  and anxiously awaits the Tophat w/ a lapbar  8-)

Well,   here's the latest,  from what I know

the Batman side of the Chiller was repeatedly run (riderless) on Fri
nite.   They seem to have the valley'ing problem worked out.
Due to how long the ride's been shut down for,  it will have to be
re-inspected before it can be ridden by the GP
this SHOULD happen the beginning of the week,  barring any
complications.
if that happens I would look for the Batman side of the Chiller to
open next Sat

As for the Robin side I'm guessing,  but they really couldn't work on
the Batman side  while Robin side testing was going on.   Since it
appears that the train is on property and it did run successfully last
season, I would expect that side to follow in a couple weeks more.
(it's got to be tested and re-inspected too)

I know the wait is hell,  but from my Robin rides last year,  it'll be
worth it,  it'll be worth it
    8-)
