I-X Center Indoor Amusement Park Question

I-X Center Indoor Amusement Park Question

Post by Rob Burt » Mon, 04 Mar 2002 11:24:47

I have never been to the Indoor Amu***t Park and was wondering what to
expect.  I have a 1 1/2 year old and want to make sure there are things
there for the little ones.  Also, I noticed in the ads that there is a
"Stealth Flying Coaster", anyone have any clue as to what this is?  A
possible Zamperela (sp?) Volare?  Thanks.

Its a couple of hundred feet short, according to the web site,
for a Volare. Also, the first two models are going in France and
SFEG.

The Stealth Flyer could just be the Schwarzkopf Wildcat that
has been there in the past.

I don't know that there has ever been a Schwarzkopf Wildcat in there;
quite frankly, I'm not sure there is enough space for one...Wildcats are BIG!

Typically they bring in a Zyklon, and a couple of times they've brought in
a Looping Star.

The show is an indoor carnival, typically both units of Bates Amu***ts,
so it's kind of like the total ride package at a good-sized fair,
including spectaculars, majors, and kiddies.

So is the I-X indoor carnival going on this season?  Who'se got details?
I haven't seen anything about it here in Columbus yet...!

That's true, I don't ever remember a Wildcat. Before the Zyklon, they
used to bring in a Flitzer, and advertise it as the largest indoor
coaster in the world. Being young and gullable at the time, I honestly
expected to see some portable looping Schwarzkopf bigger than
Edmonton's Mindbender. Boy was I surprised.
