I am in high school and I need some suggestions for what classes I should take
if I want to design rollercoasters.  I am very interested in the profession and
would like any help.  Thanks in advance.

All us roller coaster designers take the Roller Coaster Design course
for 4 years in highschool. After that you should attend Roller Coaster
University in Switzerland.

Seriously though, you'll need all the Science and Math you can get. If
you are a fresman in Highschool you should be in Trig/advcd math right
now, and Biology also. This is so you can take Physics in your Junior
year and AP Physics in your senior year. Take Calculus BC too. That's
all you can do in highschool.

Skywal4410,
I want to design roller coasters also, and i'm choosing high school
classes. The math and science courses(which Stephen Martin
mentioned)will probably be the most helpful to you. Also any of these
will help you out along the way: Architectural Graphics, Computer
Applications, Engineering Graphics, Technology Systems, Computer-Aided
Design. Any type of Engineering/Manufacturing classes. Hope that helps!
good luck:)
