I think the official time on coasters which must stop on the back brake
(such as most new 3-train rides...) is from dispatch to stop on the brake
run. I don't know that for sure, but it makes sense. But as a rider, I
consider that my ride on Raptor is from floor-down to bar-open...and it is
remarkably consistent thanks to CP's rigid adherance to the dispatch
interval. But I think you are right about official timing.
