To make this easy, assume a lift angle of 45 degrees. Using simple trig
that gives us a distance of just over 537 feet of track on the lift hill.
In an interview, Ron Toomer gave the lift speed on the Magnum as 10 to 12
feet per second. Using the more conservative figure, it would take 53.7
seconds to reach the top of a 380-foot hill.
