I suspected as much. Intimidator was a huge investment, I doubt we'll
see any new coasters there for a while.

But where the hell is my rocket? Surely I can't be the only one who feels mislead by their teaser announcement. I guess that rocket is a one way flight to Planet S.

Nope, that's all folks.

Don't need to fight this stuff any more, it's real easy.

The scoreboard just came out, it's the Golden Ticket Awards 2012.

Not the most perfect list, but close enough.   Ride stuff on "The List" that you haven't been on.   CP will probably have GK ready since it's B&M and they're good about having rides ready for the season.   A trip to HW, KI, and CP is what I have in mind.   Although CP will probably be packed with GK, would need to buy the flash pass.

The other idea would be a visit to Hershey, Dorney, and SFNJ.

If you live near KD, you'd make a road trip to Carowinds or Dollywood.    Could even go all the way to SFoG.    Plenty of options for the locals if you've got a good car, or can rent one and afford the gas.

Plan this stuff based on "The List" and you won't get frustrated any more.

Good advice. Truth is, I'm in West Michigan (frequent CP, SFGAm and KI) and my plans for next summer are KD/BGW. I was really hoping for a record-breaking strata or something, being that KI and KD are similar in content. I watched the announcement event live and was seriously disappointed. Biggest kid's area? Kids are very important to parks but that's no way to build anticipation for a record breaker. What a letdown. Oh well, there's still plenty there for maybe a full day visit.

I have a friend who was also expecting some $20 million mega coaster.

I really don't understand why anybody would expect that. That park is
pretty crowded and they are only 2 years removed from building a
gigacoaster. It'll be some time before we see another big investment
at that park in one coaster, no?

I wouldn't be surprised to see a B&M wing rider at KD in 2014.

Haven't been there yet, so I'm not well versed. Was just awaiting the announcement with due hope, since it's only a couple trips away for our group.

KD/BDE is a great trip, went this year.

I'm thinking of Hershey/Dorney/Knobels/SFNJ

See how I do this?  The year after the coaster opens, is when I go, that being the wing rider at Hershey.
