Cedar Point America's RollerCoast has the reputation of being the
number 1 park for coasters and its upsetting to see leaders of The
American Coaster Entusiats to be unable to accept whatever Cedar Point
had in mind. Cedar Fair is the owner of the Park and is allowing a
club the ability to rent out thier rides exclusively at a discount for
thier members to enjoy. If Cedar Fair wants part of the action on
the Convention merchandise so it could have their quaility seal of
approval why not let them in Everything I seen that comes from
Cedar Point is excellent. The convention is being held in their
park. I am pretty sure they don't make money doing this. It is more
of a publicity thing. Maybe ACE ought to rethink who has the true
power. It's the Parks. who own & maintain the rides and we are just
guest at thier parks like everyone else. If its about money and who
makes what? Why does Ace need to make money at these events? Aren't
they a nonprofit punch of people who are insane about riding coasters?
If they need more money to fund the club raise the event prices and
the dues per year. I hope this is not becoming a trend to turn off
parks to Ace.
