Update: RRC Users Gallery -- Please Read

Post by Walt Breymi » Mon, 11 Jan 1999 04:00:00

Hey, everybody--

I haven't posted an update message in about a month, and in that
time the Users Gallery has gone from 33 users to the current total of
54! Come on over and check out the new additions, and submit a profile
yourself if you haven't done so already.

The reason that I asked everyone to read is that I am still
desiring to expand and spread the Users Gallery. If there are any
links that you think are good links that are representative of RRC, or
are good all around source for RRC users, let me know and I will
consider adding them to my links list. You can submit your personal
page links too, if you'd like, to be added to my personal links list
when I finally get a coaster site up and running.

Expansion plan 2:  I rememebr a while back, talk of some king of
regional rep thing, that seemed to die out and get voted down. I'd
like to do something like that, in the following manner. If you have a
particular area of expertise, and would like to help those with
questions, let me know and I'll add a line at the bottom of your
profile telling people they can contact you. For instance, maybe a
line at the bottom of Todd's profile, that says "Email Todd Long for
help in dressing like a large piece of Easter Candy." Or Jeff T's
profile could say, "Ask me how to be a bigger pissant." If Alex ever
submits one, I could put "Ask me for spelling lessons."

All kidding aside, I think this would be a great thing to do, and
it could really help out a lot. I can see a use for it myself, as
right noiw I am trying to find info on public trans. in FL, and it is
quite frustrating. Those with BGW questions might go to Jeff.
Universal questions, see Pope or Kevin. Once I get at least a few
reccomendations, I'll start a page of their own linked off the main
page.

Well, that about all for this update. By the time I post another,
probably next month, I hope to have some forms written up to sbmit
profiles, to make it a painless and quick process for all.

In the meantime, come visit your gallery, and get yourelf listed!!

    William,

I'm sorry for the trouble. I don't seem to have any of the
messages. It may well be the fault of my server, though as far as I
know I haven't been missing any other mail.

Anyone who sent me a profile that has not appeared in this last
update, please email it to me again (Unless you just sent it
yesterday) Exception to this being Randy Halliford, whose profile was
a victim of my filtering system and has been found and will be posted
soon. I'll try to have it all updated by tonite, including those who
were sent yesterday.
