one week til PPP and...

Not a peep out of anyone about the Flying Turns.  The last rumor I
heard was that the "final" trains were supposed to be arriving around
July 4th.  If they did, I haven't heard anything about it.  Anybody
else?

I've pretty much just assumed its not going to open for the past few
seasons. I go to PPP every year, and while I love Knoebels and applaud
their effort to create the Flying Turns, the way I look at it is, I
just don't expect it to operate. If/when it does, that will be great,
and I'll surely take a ride, but I just assume its not running.

It's a shame. Hopefully one day!

Exactly.  Knoebels is worth going to for me on its current merits.
Flying Turns would be a plus, though in fact if they do surprise us by
operating it at PPP it might well have an irritatingly long line--in
which case I'd just do other things anyway.  Whether Flying Turns runs
or not has no bearing on my Knoebels visits.  If and when it does, it's
gravy.  For somebody traveling a longer distance that might not be so.
In that case I'd recommend not expecting it to be running unless you've
heard definitive news that it is.
